Mrs Amanda Rutlidge, our Head of Primary, invites you to join her and Jenny DeLore, our Head of Primary Wellbeing for a special evening focused on one of the most important foundations of learning: Learning to read.
Mrs Amanda Rutlidge brings extensive experience in teaching and curriculum leadership, and is deeply passionate about equipping students to become confident, capable learners.
Guided by the latest research, she takes a forward-thinking approach to teaching and learning, supporting staff in meeting the educational and developmental needs of young learners in today鈥檚 rapidly changing world Learning to read is one of the most important foundations for a child鈥檚 success and confidence in learning.
In this informative and practical session, Amanda and Jenny will explore the evidence-based approaches our educators use in the classroom to teach reading effectively. Parents will also discover simple, effective strategies to support their child鈥檚 reading journey at home,helping them grow into confident, capable readers who love to learn.
